Try ICE by Using the new CDS Insight: Immunization CDS module
CDS Insight provides a user-friendly interface that allows users to interact with an HLN-hosted version of the Immunization Calculation Engine (ICE). The Immunization Calculation Engine is an award-winning, open-source immunization evaluation and forecasting software used by healthcare providers and public health agencies. ICE evaluates provided immunization history and generates evidence-based immunization recommendations.

Purpose
Although the CDS Insight ImmCDS module is available to the general public (including patients, parents, and providers), the primary purpose is to make it easier for the owners and implementors of health information systems to test and/or integrate with the ICE Web Service.
Tips for Using
Users can create test cases with minimal information: date of birth, immunization history, and patient factors (e.g., history of varicella). The tool will check the validity of the administered vaccinations against the most recent version of ICE and return specific recommendations across vaccine groups.
Users are required to create a free account. This will allow users to maintain their test cases across devices.
Do not include any protected health information in any test case field. While the ICE Web Service does not store a record of the data entered, users shall refrain from entering any protected data.
To create a new test manually, click the Add Patient button.
Feel free to use the 'Load Sample Patients” option to prepopulate test cases.
The Evaluation Date can be edited to which determines the date for which ICE will calculate the evaluations and recommendations whenever the user submits that patient to the ICE Web Service.
To run a patient through ICE and see the results, click the last icon on the far right. It will securely invoke the ICE Web Service on one of HLN's servers and then display the patient's data as well as the results returned by the ICE Web Service.
